Artists frequently find inspiration in the towns where they live, of course, and there are quite a few artists mixing their work with their experiences living in the town of Hadley. As part of the year-long celebration of the town's 350th anniversary, 350 x 24: Hadley Artist Exhibit displays the work of 24 different artists who are either lifelong Hadley residents or have moved to the area to share in the small-town bond that making art in the community creates.

With art of varying subject matter and style, viewers can enjoy work that ranges from the realistic to the abstract and incorporates oil, watercolor, ceramics, photography and more. Artists include Neil Broome, Kim Rand, Patricia Czepiel, John Gnatek, Lewis Bryden (whose work is pictured) and 19 others.

Through Dec. 30, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Gallery, 300 Westgate Center Dr., Hadley, (413) 253-8200, www.fws.org and www.hadley350.org.
