Cinematic Titanic is the new incarnation of Mystery Science Theater 3000, that very fine convergence of sarcasm, bad movies and robot puppets. I just had the pleasure of interviewing Joel Hodgson, who invented the show. In knocking around the Internet Archives in search of badfilm, I stumbled across this awesome short enjoyed by the human and robots of MST3K long ago. It’s even better with their commentary, but highly enjoyable as a standalone piece of work.
Best line: “The kitchen of the future is calling me.”
I bet it is.
