The Phoenix Suns Man Up in AZ

American athletes and sports organizations (Charles Barkley and Muhammed Ali being the oft-trotted-out exceptions) are notorious for avoiding taking any political stand (Michael Jordan particularly so, I’m sad to say), so it’s especially great to see that a team I happen to root for has taken a very strong position against the new, heinous Arizona immigration law. Both players and owner have stepped up, while the Arizona Diamondbacks have ducked and covered. Here’s an SI article about it. GO SUNS GO!!! A Celtics-Suns final?
