Nothing says comedy like fake bombs and threats of execution!
Either something got lost in translation, or Iraqi humor is pretty strange. Although the end of this article says the new Iraqi reality show in which celebrities are stopped by “soldiers,” who plant a fake bomb and scare said celebrities half to death, was probably spawned by a similar “joke” devised by American soldiers.
Maybe it’s just what becomes funny when you’re surrounded by death and destruction for seven years, no matter which side you’re on.
