And speaking of, my friend Ron Egatz just posted at his blog the only thing I’ve seen yet that made me consider that I might eventually want an iPad–he dubs it the best e-reader available. Hmm.

In other news, the ozone layer is coming back, thanks mostly to the era of disco ending, and taking it with it all that CFC hairspray. Which is good, because my work so far on SPF 8,000 has not been promising, and I didn’t want to have to buy an even bigger cowboy hat.

Also, coffee news:

People who drink too much coffee could start seeing ghosts or hearing strange voices, UK research has suggested.

People who drank more than seven cups of instant coffee a day were three times more likely to hallucinate than those who took just one, a study found.

Which, when you think about it, may be the long-lost explanation for why anyone would actually drink instant coffee.
