When they grow up, they want to be … ski bums?

Apparently yes.

Check out this short video, “Ski Bums Never Die,” which was produced by Sherpas Cinemas (whose upcoming documentary film “Into The Mind” I blogged about a few weeks ago), and appeared on Solomon Freeski TV, about a handful of retirement age friends enjoying the mountainous powder and their time together at Whitewater Ski Resort, up in Interior British Columbia.

“I don’t think I want to come up here when I can only do groomers,” says Mary Woodwards, 75-years-young.

Neither do I. Even if I’m only half her age.

So much for ski bumming being defined by the post-college, pre-day job crowd.
