The Rich Get Richer
If you ask enough people in our community if they’re able to sustain their families and make ends meet, you’ll quickly find out that too many of my friends and neighbors aren’t getting a fair shake. Even as the economy has turned around, most Americans haven’t seen any improvement in their pay. It’s just plain wrong that companies pay the people who make our food, care for our loved ones, teach our children and stock the shelves at the stores where we shop so little that they can’t afford the basics. The bottom line is that we all are worth more than CEOs say.
How do we get back on track? It’s vital, but not enough to demand that profitable corporations create jobs that allow our community to thrive. We must continue pressing our elected officials to boost the minimum wage and enact standards that value families. Let’s remember that every person should be able to earn a fair return on the work they do.

The Clintons are life imitating art: Evita is their playbook. A powerful greedy couple — Juan and Eva, Bill and Hil — clawing their way to the top and eliminating anyone who gets in their way. He was the top dog and now it’s her turn.
The latest disclosures about the Clinton Foundation receiving massive donations during her Secretary of State tenure is par for the course. The Clinton m.o. included renting out the Lincoln bedroom to the highest donor not to mention being impeached for his conduct.
Don’t cry for me Washington, D.C.,
The truth is we’ll skate on this, too,
Our loyal toadies and liberal media
will keep their promise to get us through
Who knows, maybe some more emails will be uncovered that even their buddy, the attorney general, can’t ignore. Maybe Hillary will get impeached too and they’ll have another historical distinction: first presidential couple in history who were both impeached. Where’s Joe Biden or John Kasich when we need them?
