Shopping for antiques is like going on a treasure hunt at the Trading Post. Owned by Aaron and Louise McGrath, The Trading Post has been in business for 42 years. Louise’s father, Lawrence Pratt, founded the antique shop based on his love for re-purposing furniture and restoring it to its original beauty. Unfortunately, Pratt became ill and passed away in 2017 leaving McGrath and her husband to run The Trading Post. “I started helping out when my father became sick,” McGrath says. She continues, “The more I got involved the more I loved it. There’s so much furniture to work on and renew.” The McGraths are truly honored by this award and want to thank everyone for their support and loyalty of the shop.
