Why do people love Nick’s Nest? “Two reasons,” says owner Kevin Chateauneuf, who owns the business with his wife, Jenn. “We have a very good hot dog, and we’re an old-fashioned kind of place. It reminds people of the good old days.” The Chateauneufs bought the business in 2005 and added soft serve ice-cream. But they kept serving all the food people had come to love since Nick’s Nest was opened in 1921. “We don’t change too much,” says Chateauneuf.
