Since 1976, the Holyoke St. Patrick’s Road Race has been a tradition in the city. The 6.2-mile race kicks off at 1 p.m. and runners circle from City Hall to Holyoke Community College and back. In addition, there is the 2-Mile Walk, which starts immediately after the runners start. There’s a free Kids Fun Run that begins at 11 a.m. at the intersection of Hampden Street and Walnut Street and ends at the Road Race finish line and there will be entertainment along the route for all to enjoy.
