The Yankee Candle flagship store opened 14 years later and has become a tourist destination. “Yankee Candle Village is a destination for families looking to have an enjoyable day of activities, food, and fun and for shoppers who are drawn to the huge offering of candle fragrances,” says Wade Bassett, Director of Sales and Operation. There are many events and activities for adults and kids, including Santa’s Enchanted Village in December. Being located in the Valley, Yankee Candle’s seasonal scents are “true to life,” says Bassett. Recently the company introduced personalized candles.
