ConVino Wine Bar has been open for four years and this is its fourth time for winning Best Wine List. ConVino Wine Bar Owner and Chef Caroline McDaniel opened ConVino because there wasn’t a wine bar in Northampton and “there needed to be one,” she said. She says they have been lucky in their location, which puts them next to the Northampton parking garage and along a pedestrian walkway. “I know that I am lucky in my staff; they are competent, and smart and they care about wine and food,” she says. Customers like the lamb riblets as well as the truffle and parmesan fancy fries. “People come in for the food as much as for the wine,” she says.
