Owner Andrea Moroney tips her hat to Bub, who began Bub’s BBQ in 1979. “He just loved restaurants, but he hated all of the bureaucratic stuff,” Moroney says. “He knew the layout would work and went with it.” B ub ’s is a place where you can have some high quality barbecue without leaving the Valley. It’s also home of unlimited sides, and there are 14 to choose from. “We love being able to get local produce at all the different farms and learn where our food is coming from,” she says. “It ’s just fun to see what the farmer has weekly and incorporate it into the menu.” Moroney says they are flattered people consistently vote for Bub’s as Best of the Valley. “We try to keep putting out a great product.”
