Two UMass alumnae, Irada Djelassi and Katherine Hooper, come to town this week with the dance troupe they co-direct, BoSoma—Boston Somatic Dance Company. Four other alumnae dance with the troupe. The co-directors also present a lecture on starting a non-profit and master classes for current UMass and Five College students. The troupe calls its dance work "vibrant, vital movement," and offers a strong component of community-building through collaborations with local musicians and visual artists.
