The thing that interests me about these athletes' lies – started fascinating me watching Barry Bonds all those years in SF just lie and lie and lie – is that they lie so grandly, excessively, so arrogantly, and so many more times than they need to. And even when they're caught. their apologies are always utterly hollow andfalse.
