My Columbia U. chum Nancy Rawlinson sent me this video from the British sketch comedy show Man Stroke Woman, in which dude at a bar tries, and ultimately fails, to navigate the conversational waters between the educated, middle class friend sitting next to him and his old mate at the other end of the bar, who hasn’t traveled very far from their working class roots.
I wonder what this would look like in American translation?
