It’s not an easy task for most local bands to fill up the Iron Horse. It seems to take a combination of popularity and good karma. Running with Karma apparently has plenty of the latter, and has long possessed the former. The group releases a new CD called Ferocious this week at the Iron Horse, debuting a sound that’s evolved from the moody pop of past releases to a harder-edged and melodic brand of pop. That new direction comes in part from the 2006 addition of two members: drummer Maurice Watson and bassist Meghann Wright. The Fake Boys and My My open the show.
