Military flights!
The fighter jets are from Barnes in Westfield. The transport is stationed at Westover. These pilots need to constantly fly to keep their skills honed razor sharp. They can’t do that sitting in an armchair simulator. In a real event these pilots need to execute their mission and return safely. Landing is the most difficult and that is why they are in the air so often. They practice touch ’n’ go landings. Pilots need their skills. Would one want to be on a commercial airline with an armchair pilot or a highly skilled one?
Election 2016 … on Super Bowl Sunday
Election night was a bad one for the Democrats across the country and in Massachusetts. Obviously, if we Dem’s want to get back into power, we need to adopt the successful tactics of the Republicans, starting with Governor-elect Charlie Baker. First we need to oppose everything he proposes and in four years we can complain that he hasn’t accomplished anything. We should purposely wreck the economy by threating to default on the state debt and shutting down the government. We’ll just say it was his fault. Also, I heard a rumor that Charlie really wasn’t born in America. Years ago wasn’t “Charlie” the army’s code name for the Viet Cong? Now, I’m not saying that the governor is a Viet Cong, I’m just saying that I haven’t seen any proof that he isn’t. But I digress. Baker won the male vote by 17 percent so we need to think of ways to suppress the votes of white men. Let’s hold the next election during the Super Bowl! Or we can pass a voter ID law stating that if you have an ID you can’t vote. Most importantly, I’ll start a political action committee, and an out of state rich person will give me a million dollars so we can take our state back. Or several rich people giving me several millions of dollars would be even better.
