You are probly wondering where I have been for the last couple weeks, well I will tell you. I won a trip for 2 to Washington DC on the radio contest when I correctly identified Pago Pago as the capital of Samoa. I won a train ride and a hotel and a tour and dinner and a hundred dollar gift certificate to a big electronics store and a trip to the Samoan embassy. When i told jake abt winning he insisted that he get to come along as well b/c he said he was listening to the radio and knew the answer but since i borrowed his phone he was unable to call and so therefor me winning was the same as him winning and he was entitled to the trip same as i was. he had a good point on that, so we let him come along and split his expenses 3 ways, which was the fair thing to do.

anyways, to make a really long story short, we went to museums and the embassy and such and had a fine time, but outside the electronics store we got caught in the middle of this demonstration with all these anarchist fellows. Jake ended up talking to one of the female anarchist fellows and he just wound up mooning around her like a puppy. i never seen jake get like that. he was full on lovestruck all the way up until the riot police came and took him away, even tho he was just standing besides this girl while she threw her rocks and broke some car windows. At his court hearing jake said he dint do a thing, and i believe him on that. but just the same he ended up in the pokey and we had to extend our stay until that anarchette said he dint do nothing and he got out of the pokey, all of which took abt 2 weeks and changed the general dimension of our trip, especially since jake had the gift certificate to the electronics store but it fell out of his pokcet in the paddy wagon and we never got it back. while he was in the hoosgow in the meantime, i and dody maxed out that credit card i found on the train down to DC when jake opened a bag of potato chips and they kind of sprang out of the bag and into this NY fellows lap and he got all huffy and got up to change seats, and we ended up sleepoing one nite in that big park they have there w/ all the statues and such.

But we are back and things is back to normal. all in all, i spose it was a good enough trip and it was good to be in the samoan embassy again, but i have got to confess that for how behind i got I sometimes wished I and jake never knew from Pago Pago.
