Using teasers is a waste of money! Why dont the police do the teasing themselves? Why do they have to bring in teasers to do it for them? The problem is it raises more questions then it answers. How much do these teasers cost? How affective are the teasers? Do the police receive training in how to use a teaser? Are teasers being used appropriately or are they teasing people who do not deserve to be teased?
And wldnt you know it but now people are sueing the police b/c they got teased by teasers when they do not feel they shld have been teased. Well, if any one had asked, i cld have told them that is what wld happen.
Now, I have been teased by the police before. And I will tell you what: it hurts to be teased. But some times an officer needs to tease someone to get them to move on along down the road and i understand that. But what i do not understand and can not support is why the police have to go and buy teasers tho. Those cops what used to tease me did it by themselves. They did not have teasers do it for them. On the other hand I bet there are alot of smartasses out there who now have a way to put their teasing to good use if they are asked to and i do not be grudge them for having found a job b/c jobs are hard to come by. As I understand it, these teasers are right there in the police car all the time in case an officer needs to tease some one. Well, that just makes MORE questions! How much are these teasers paid? How much room do they take up?
My point here is I do not see why we need to be spending tax money on having some teaser say "Hey Big Nose why dont you pull up yr pants and walk straight" or "Get away from that heavy equipment, fatso!" when the police can tease people perfectly well on their own. That is the way it used to be, and that is the way it shld be. There is too much speciailization in this world.
What i am saying is, I support teasing. But i do NOT support using teasers!
