We used the Quebec Rules exactly as they are written except instead of saying Zed we said Zero. That caused some confusion ofcourse but we all got used to it after awhile. Besides it is rare that you ever have a zero b/c people pretty much always put down at least one finger. Nut Mogan was referee & did the calling. He does not call "Tra tra tra shoot" as good as Garry Bannon but Garry was at another contest so was not available. But Nut is a good enough caller anyway & when he says "Call it, odds or evens" you know he means business. Here are the results:
1. Jake
2. Cpt Slow
3. Lumb Decker
4. Molly Hooks
5. Pete Turkowski Sr.
6. Pete Turkowski Jr.
7. Oola
8. Gum Harris
9. Tug Stephens (tied)
9. Dexter Methorphan (tied)
10. Me, Frank Dodge.
Jake is real good. He says it is b/c he understands Game Theory but i do not see what hunting has to do w/ it. Anyway, i did better then last yr & am happy to have finally cracked the top 10. My problem is i sometimes put down more fingers then i mean to. My head says "two" but my fingers say "five." It is probly just that i need more practice.
