A Western Mass resident since 1972, photographer and naturalist John Green, Jr. can often be found photographing the Quabbin Reservoir area. Skilled in plant and bird identification, Green has hosted a week-long nature photography field school for the Massachusetts Audubon Society for some 15 years and his work has been exhibited widely throughout the Bay State.
This spring, Green exhibits 14 photographic prints featuring subjects—most shot locally—that represent the ever-changing seasons.
Through May 3. Reception: Jan. 30, 3-5 p.m., Integrated Sciences and Engineering Library, Lederle Lowrise, UMass-Amherst, (413) 545-1370, www.library.umass.edu.
