Nothing to eat. head of cabbage, eggs too beautiful to consume, some sweet potatoes gleaned in November that look like dismembered unmentionables, corn meal, 8 lbs, no more goat meat, even and for tea, honey and hot water. but today for a guest from this I managed to make a decent soup of butternut squash that has been here since October. First it was a decoraton on the book shelves, then it went into the fridge due to bugs. today it was soup, with celeriac, cumin, carmelized onions and a little milk. amazing what you can do with a book shelf decoration.
