Whether you are a shutterbug or an experienced appreciator of the finer aspects of photography, you will find something to catch your eye as The Williams College Museum of Art presents two exhibitions from “the most famous portrait photographer in the world,” Edward Steichen. On display from May 30 to September 13, Edward Steichen in High Fashion, the Conde Years, 1923-1937 features images of fashion models and celebrities such as Greta Garbo, Amelia Earhart, Walt Disney, Gary Cooper (pictured) and more. From June 6 to Nov. 8, Edward Steichen: Episodes from a Life in Photography highlights images that focus more on Steichen’s artistic process and creative methods.
