It’s Friday and you’re free as a bird, or as Steve Miller might say, “I wanna fly like an eagle!” If that’s the case, you might want to head up to Shelburne Falls tonight and catch The Eagle Huntress to get inspired. It’s a beautiful documentary that follows Aishol-pan, a 13-year-old Kazakh girl from Mongolia, as she attempts to become the first female eagle hunter to compete in the eagle festival in Mongolia. Punctuated with gorgeous cinematography and an enduring and endearing message of persistence, this doc is well worth seeing. 7:30 p.m. Shelburne Falls Memorial Hall Theater’s Pothole Pictures, 51 Bridge St., Shelburne Falls. 413-231-2211.
