I've been having an interesting little Facebook conversation this week after reading one too many Yankee-bashing posts on Fbook (from Mass. pals, sure, but also nationwide).

So many Yankee haters out there. I can see hating George, the power/money structure of baseball, et al, but this bunch of Yankees, barring one or two, just aren't very hateworthy. And for Red Sox fans to complain about the Yanks' trying to buy it? I'm not really a baseball or Yankee fan any more, but I am I complete traitor Celtics fan!!!! (hop on, Sox fans!), and I'm happy for my dad that his team won. So there.

If I saw Jeter or Posada walking down the street, I'd be psyched to say hi and give them a handshake and a little razzing in jest.
