The Old One-Two

It’s double trouble for Valley folk fans this week at the newly-renovated Shea Theater in Turners Falls. Parsonsfield, a Northampton-based alt-folk quintet, swizzles together pop and bluegrass with three-part harmonies for a highly-danceable take on old-timey banjo and mandolin routines. And Parker Millsap, a 23-year-old Delta blues freak from Oklahoma, brings great storytelling and powerhouse vocals to original Americana ballads narrated by earnest, down-and-out characters. The double bill also welcomes special guests Ghosts of Paul Revere.
