Cinemadope: Your Nearest Screening of 1984
This week, as part of a nationwide cinema movement, over 160 cinemas across the country will screen “1984” as a form of protest against the planned cuts to the National Endowment for the Arts — cuts that many of the participants decry as an attack on free speech and creative expression.
